ORIENTATION
► Collector panels should face North ±45
► Northwest is better than Northeast
► Any orientation is possible with a stand

INCLINATION
► Collector panels must be ±20 off latitude
► Steeper roof will achieve better winter
performance

FLOW RATE and DISTRIBUTION
► Shower head restriction is advisable
► Ensure that the solar tank is centralised to
the main taps of the house

SHADING
► Avoid shading between 10am and 3pm
► Maintain bush and trees where possible
